Polish Summer Picnic 2022

The Toledo Area Polish Summer Picnic returns for its 7th year!

Presented by the Toledo Area Polka Society (TAPS), this two day festival celebrates all things Polish with dancing, music, beer and of course great food.

What is TAPS?

The Toledo Area Polka Society was founded in 1982 when a group of polka enthusiasts first met in a garage in East Toledo to develop greater interest in polka dancing, to promote fellowship among polka music fans, and to secure nationally known talent in the polka music industry. The membership officially formed in 1983.

Oak Shade Pavilion

Home to many great festivals, The Polish Summer Picnic is well suited to this outdoor venue. Located in Oregon, there is plenty of parking plus a wide open area to roam and enjoy.

Besides hosting outdoor festivals, Oak Shade also plays host to weddings, receptions, and other special parties and events. It is also the home of the Black Forest Cafe and later in the summer the German American Festival.
