We often forget how many wonderful places there are to hear music on a routine basis. Of course we all know about THE places…the big concert venues like The Stranahan, The Valentine, Centennial Terrace, The Peristyle, Maumee Indoor Theater and The Huntington Center. These are the iconic places in our area that we go to see that big show. Still, peppered throughout our region are great little performance venues that quietly bring local and regional talent to the stage every day of the week. We try to routinely feature as many of these venues as we can with GlassCity Entertainment Online. However, we thought it might be nice to simply highlight a few of these venues with one useful list. Now in the depths of the winter is a great time to get out and patronize these restaurants, bars, and coffee houses. Nothing supports our cultural community like visiting a local restaurant/bar that features local talent. See you around town!
