Howard Marsh Kayak and Birding Eco-Tour

Sunday, May 29, 8 to 10:30 a.m. or Noon to 2:30 p.m.
Reservations Required, Fee: $25
Howard Marsh is prime birding territory in May, as many of our migratory birds stop to feed and rest on their long journeys. Watch the marsh come alive with a serene morning paddle and explore this birding hotspot by water with a naturalist. Binoculars provided. Dress to get wet and wear synthetic clothing (nylon, spandex, or polyester, no cotton). Wear old tennis shoes, water shoes, or sandals with a heel strap (no flip flops). Bring water and sun protection. Please leave all valuables at home. We will provide all boats, life jackets and other gear. Please bring a change of clothes and a towel. This program runs rain or shine. Minors must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program. Metroparks Toledo is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion. Staff can adapt many programs to be accessible. Adaptive equipment is available upon request. Please tell us your needs at the time of registration, but no later than 72 business hours prior to the program.
